Hard to shift gears
I have a 99 Ford F150 V6 5 speed, and in the morning time it is hard to put into any gear. When I drive the truck for 20 or 30 minutes, it starts shifting fine. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thanks.

My previous 2000 4.2 with a 5 speed would bind a little trying to get it into 1st when it was cold. I got into the habit of shifting it into reverse (don't let go of the clutch) and then back into 1st and it seemed to do the trick. Not sure if that the same problem you have. Good luck
