Heres a funny story i thought i would share. Me and my girlfriend go to the movies. Walking out to my truck i notice the truck behind me is parked pretty close. HHHmmm, hes so close he is touching my bumper. That (snip) me off, you dont mess with other peoples stuff. I get in my truck and my GF goes, you not going backwards toward that truck. I smile and say, nooo im not. Accidentally i put it in 4 low, and reverse. whoopss. my bad, then give it gas (diesel??) and push the truck back about 10 ft. Now i feel better and leave.
Any damage to your or his trk? I live for the day I can just hammer into the side of the nit-wit that pulls out in front of me and then decides to window shop thru town. Leaving the scene of a "incident" that caused property damage could be considered "leaving a hit and run". Use caution my friend, last thing you need is your GF blowing the horn and waving to you from YOUR truck as you and the "crew" in orange jumpers clean up trash alone the interstate.
after i did it i realized i should have. his truck, a 80's ford had those bumper horn things and luckily left no marks. i felt really good to do it but like my GF said, "we dont need any problems now" you live and learn.
can't tell you how many times I have walked out into the parking lot at work and found some customers bumper or grill work impaled by the trailer hitch on the back of my 4x4 F350

That's why I leave the big 2 15/16 hitch on my truck. It will save the bumper in parking lots and at the drive thru at McDonalds. I don't know how many times I have been bumped in the drive thru, but I can tell you I cannot count the times its happened on my hands and feet. It is really funny when someone bumps it and it goes through their grill. It at least teaches them a lesson not to follow so close if anything.
I'm with you brother with the drop hitch. Kinda like trolling on one of our big lakes out here. You never know what your gonna catch. I snagged a Camry 2 weeks go.
I believe in Auto Conservation though. Catch and Release Program. You could sure tell that I hooked him, too.
Ever notice how you can park out in the middle of nowhere, half to walk forever to get into the store, movies, etc. and then come out and there is some old beater right next to your vehicle? It's just not easy to keep your rig undented.
Oh yeah....you should see some of the dings in my truck. There's one right behind the passenger door, it's hard to explain but somebody had to REALLY work to get it there.
This is just a wish but here it goes. I want a motion/vibration activated camera system. when either is detected it records the previous 5 minutes and then records the next 10 or so. This way i have proof that some moron deserves the dent i put in thier piece of junk with a 10 lb sledge. hey i can dream cant I. Or weld angle iron on the edge of my door so i can inflict some good door dings.
Right after I got my truck, I took it to the first crowded parking lot, got a door ding. Then I took it to the ranch and ran throug mesquite trees and prickly pear cactus for that special pinstriping. Now that is out of the way, I don't worry about it.

This post makes me think of the several times I've had folks leave nastygrams on my windshield because they think I parked too close to their cars and had trouble gettin in. Sorry man, it's an f350 dually crew cab long bed! It's reeeeaally long and reaaaallllly fat. Not much I can do about the fact that parking spaces seem to be designed around Honda Civics (I think I may have accidentally parked over one once)!

My dad was riding with me today when we went to lunch. He said "You know I'd like to have one of these, but it sure does seem like a pain to park, it's just soooo big." I told him that's one of the things I love about it. He thought I was going to take out a little import pulling in, but I was watching the reflection of my bumper in the windo of the restaurant. BTW, the roof of the inport sat at the level of my hood. Now that I have lifted my truck a little the bumper sits at most small cars' window level and the hood is higher than their roofs. The funny thing is when I had my F-150 4x4 with 35's people seldom pulled out infront of me if I was coming down the road. When I traded the truck and got my Mustang GT Convertible in 2002 everybody pulled out in front of me. Most of them I would just gas it around. It's nice to be back in something intimidating though. Very few people have pulled out in front of my 250, and now that it has bigger tires and sits higher nobody pulls out...and it still makes a great daily driver since I didn't go extreme on my lift and tires...the best of both worlds I guess.
