I had one that the od light would start flashing and hard shift,when i turned key off and back on no flashing light and everthing was ok,had been doing this for about a year,replaced the vss sensor seemed to be better but would still start flashing from time to time, went to dealer and bought one for about 30.00 dollars, this has fixed the problem so far.
