Hey boys here is a link I found rather amusing. www.titantalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=88
This is a link to titan forums and it is loaded with complaints. ENJOY
I couldn't agree with you more. I'll have to check out the regular forums. All the problems the're having are just great. I hope all these boneheads out there buying imports choke on all their problems.

I haven't read it but it just proves what I've said all along. There are no major differences (quality-wise) between any of the major players, they've all got their problems. Just read all the 6.0 liter complaints hereon. I buy my trucks based on looks. Ford has the baddest looking truck. Period.
And no offense to anyone here, but, these people buying other manufacturers trucks aren't boneheads. They're just regular Joes, like us. And they probably thought they were making a good purchase decision.
I owned a Mitsubishi (under Dodge Logo) pickup for 16 years, 151,000 miles. Never did much but replace a clutch--and that was just my poor shifting skills.
Give 'em a break. Oh yeah. Give those highway workers a brake, too!

Maybe, but I'd question the logic of jumping from the truck leader of 27 years to not only a newly designed truck, but a new competitor in the market period. The Ford is a proven product, and the Nissan wasn't. Despite what many think of foreign car quality, I half expect Nissan to have issues. Guess I was right.
I'm surprised the truck is having so many problems coming from Nissan. My parents have 1996 and 1998 Maxima's they bought new and both have over 100k on them and never a problem with them. You would think something would break with all those miles but nothing. I'd say they are pretty good vehicles. Guess they messed up witht the new pickup. Other than being butt ugly it sounds like a impressive truck. Not that I would ever give them one dollar for it but.......

The difference is the Maxima is a proven platform with plenty of time to have worked out any problems. There are always problems with new vehicles. Give them a few years and they'll have all the problems worked out. Except the main problem that it's not a Ford, of course.
Not sure how this thread is related to Super Duty/Heavy Duty trucks? Heck, the Titan isn't even a competitor to this line of vehicles. Guess that's why this same posting is in the '04 F150 forum too.
Regardless, does anyone actually read the posts in this forum? Or maybe check out the 2004 F150 Forum also here at FTE? Perhaps a few of the dozens of other Ford truck sites? Doesn't look like Ford owners are all enjoying sunshine & roses either.
My point is that I sure wouldn't "enjoy" the mis-fortunes of others. Especially after what I went through with my imported 2000 F250.

Yeah, I think so too. With new model releases and "updates" every year, there doesn't seem to be enough real world "testing" of these models before release. Witness the 6.0 and its issues.
Thats why I don't buy first year model years. I didn't sign up to be a "tester" for Ford or anyone else
