Anybody out there slid a 460EFI into a '75 E-250? It's a bit of a challenge because I don't know what the original engine was. It was converted direct from the factory by Quadravan and when I got it several years ago it was pushed by a slightly trick 351C. Maybe installed by Q-van, maybe not. I believe that that engine was not offered in that year E-250. (source-CA AQMD) I know that the 351C was considered to be part of the "small block" family, but since that's not the orig. engine, and the 351W, which is a "big block" was offered in that model/year, I might just be able to get the 460 to fit. Any/all "war stories" about similar conversions, as well as suggestions, will be appreciated.
I think you have that backword the 351C is in the big block family and the 351W is from the small block family. The 351c is part of 335 serises witch consist of 351m,400 witch are considerd big blocks. The 351W comes from 260,289,302 family witch is considerd small blocks.
