1986 E150 Hazard Lights problem?
i have a 86 Econoline van and heres the problems.My turn signals all work properly,at the lense and the indicator in the guage assy.I turn on my hazrd light switch and only the pass side front light flashes and only the pass side indicator in guage assy flashes,the driver side indicator,front lense and both rear lenses do not flash??Obvious the bulbs work,from the turn signal test,changed flasher units,any ideas??Thanks in advance...

If you look at a wiring diagram, i think you will find that the only difference between the 2 circuits are the electrical paths thru the multifunction switch. Check the switch. Go here www.helminc.com & buy one of these "Ford electrical & vacuum troubleshooting manual" When it comes to fixing electrical problems this will be the best 20 bucks you can spend.

Getting close
Further troubleshooting,i noticed when i "jiggled" the hazard switch on the column,the other front lens ans indicator came on and flashed but still neither rear lens responds.possible bad hazard switch???

If you had the manual I mentioned testing the multifunction switch would be very simple, but sicne jiggling it partially solves the problem, it does sound like it's shot. Pull the top half of the steering column shroud off & check that the connector is on tight. And try removing and reconnecting the connector to clean the pin contacts.
