New Predator version for 6.0?

I remember reading in one of these threads a month or so back that there was some new feature worth waiting for on the Predator, but no one was saying what it was, and that it would be available any week now. This was for the 6.0 PSD.

Does anyone know if this "new and improved" Predator model is real yet? I was going to be buying one soon, but would hate to find out I just missed something better by a few days/weeks

I wouldn't wait. You can download new programs from Diablo and then upload them to your Predator. All the stuff you need is on their site. According to the web site http://www.diablosport.com/Downloads.php, r34c is still the latest available. That has been out now for a while. So buy it now and enjoy.

I think they were going to up the HP to compete with microchips 150 HP claim. I have been waiting... We were told by the web master that we would be pleased with the update. I was expecting to see diablo up it to 150 HP. Ken any help would be appreciated thanks Jerry.

I would like to thank the originator of this thread for enlightening me on the status of my Predator.

I installed the 65HP program about 5000 miles ago, and had always assumed it was the r33c version -- "new and improved" with more power and much better shifting.

In my apparent haste and excitement to play with the new toy...

...I did not notice my Predator was the r28c version. Uh, oops.

I was fairly impressed with the power of the r28c tune. The tranny shifted pretty well, but I thought there may be room for improvement. Now I know why...

{Homer voice on} DOH! {Homer voice off}

Funny just how stupid one can feel at a time like this. I will be downloading r34c onto the laptop first thing tomorrow, paying a visit to Rat Shack for the correct cable, and then making things right with the truck!

Cool, read the documentation carefully and follow the instructions and you will be ok. The "counter" they refer to is on the PC or laptop screen. It's not real obvious.
