Hot Rotors
How hot do the front brake rotors get? After driving around town with usual red lights, etc., I parked the expy and spit (very scientific test) on the rotors. It boiled the water off. Is this normal? I jacked the right front up and rotated the tire by hand. I could rotate it with little pressure, but it would stop as soon as I removed the pressure.
Is this normal? Do rotors get this hot?

If your doing the 'spit' test after one or two blocks, that's excessive heat.
Any longer duration than that and your test is getting the typical rotor heat build up.
Unless brakes are seizing up on you or pulling, doesn't sound like any problem.

You have to realize that the function of the brakes is to convert the kinetic energy of your vehicle to heat. Your moving Expy is a lot of energy.
A better test is to see if they are hot after driving a long distance, but coasting to a stop.
