Hello all, I've lived in Iowa for the last year or so, I'm originally from Montana. I own a '79 F150 4x4 w/ 400M and C6. My next project is to rebuild all the breaks and put in a new master cyclinder. I would like to jet my carb down a little, but I have limited experience with them, so if anybody in the Des Moines area likes to work on Edelbrocks, let me know.

Aww...another Montanan left the state to find work. Well, yer always welcome back, ya know. Good luck with your truck repairs. My brother could rebuild any carb in his sleep...me..I avoid them like the plague.

In order to keep peace in here, like the rest of the forums, let us not delve into politics or political statements. I'm sure there are people here from all the notorious parties in existence. Let's assume that anyway..... and leave it there.

I see you have a truck that's kinda like mine.
Well , mine doesn't look as good as yours , and it's a 78 Ranger XLT , and it's not a 4WD , and my radio doesn't work , and it rattles a bit until it get's up to speed , and mines rust & yellow.
Maybe it's not close to being like yours after all!

Well my box is almost completely rusted, the previous owners have shot so many layers of paint over existing rust/paint I don't know what to do. I'm thinking about getting a new box, and stripping the cab down to bare metal, and getting her looking good, but I don't know yet. Looks they have more in common than you thought.
