Question"s": 1.5 ratio *chevy* rockers on Roush 200 heads ??

Ok I know what your thinking:
1. Why in the world would a Ford "nut" put a chevy intended part on a Ford in the first darn place?
and 2. Why would he put on 1.5 ratio rockers when Ford already uses the higher ratio (more lift) 1.6?

Let me try to fill you in.
I am trying to pick up the last few parts for my 393 Danger Ranger project and I just wanna know if anyone has every bolted on a set of 1.5 ratio chevy roller rockers on a set of Roush 200's? Basically I wanna be sure the alignment is right.

Quick question anyone who has Roush 200's: were you able to use the stock push rod length? Will be using a standard (can't remember the number) fel-pro gasket.

And now the reason for 1.5 rockers........
I bought the cam to go with my Windsor Jr.'s and then sold the jr.'s and am buying Roush 200's. Using Dyno 2000 software with the new heads and my FMS M-6250-A351 cam the peak horsepower and total power curve is a little higher than I was wanting. If I change the lift numbers to represent using 1.5 ratio rockers the peak hp number increases but the whole power curve is moved lower. It looks great on Dyno 2000 and is exactly what I want, thus the reason why I'm asking about 1.5 chevy roller rockers.

Question #3: Too lazy to punch the number right now but my compression ratio before with 58cc heads was 10.1 How far will that drop with the 64cc Roush 200's? My wild guesstimate is about 9.75

I ran chevy roller rockers on my 289 heads which had chevy valves and springs. I can only guess the heads should be the same. The only small block head that is a little funny are the Trick Flow heads.

One question down 2 to go.
Anyone wanna chime in on the rockers?
Come on guys it's ok to admit you put "chevy intended" parts on your ford.........think of it this way---they're not actually chevy parts if crane or someone else makes them

A roller rocker built for a Ford or one built for a chevy is basically the same. I don't see any problem, especially if they are adjustable, and if your using guide plates. I know when 1.7 ratio rockers are used on Ford heads, they reccomend a slightly longer pushrod (only about .050 longer). People use the stock length pushrods with 1.7's all the time, without much problem. I don't know if 1.5 would need a slightly shorter pushrod or not? You could check it with one of those tools, but I doubt it will make much difference in this case.

I don't know what your compression would be, not knowing anything about your pistons, valve reliefs..ect... 64cc is the stock combustion chamber volume on 5.0's with 9:1 compression.

Thanks for the heads up on that but I am definately going to stick with full roller type rocker arms. I already bought a set which I was going to use with the World Products Windsor Jr.'s (see above)
I could probably find a local chevy guy that would wanna trade if I try hard enough.
Thanks for the help guys!!

I know how to figure compression ratio but was just wondering if anyone might have an edu. guess off of the top of their head from going from 58cc to 64cc heads.

Well it shows 9.7 to 1 so that looks good for pump gas!
