Yep, I just put the 700cfm Holley TBI system on my 360. I am still tuning it though, and working through electrical system gremlins.
Make sure your electrical system is up to snuff before even thinking about starting. This means no mechanical voltage regulator, get the electric. Make sure your alternator is good and strong. Make sure you haven't got any frayed wires. And, this is a big one, mount the ecu in a DRY location!
If I had it to do over, I'd stay with the carb until I got the 390 in, at which point I'd run a crank trigger so I could let the Commander 950 control timing, as well as going through ALL the wiring, and generally cleaning up under the hood.
