relocating power steering pump

relocating power steering pump

hello, I have a 5.8 out of a 90 E350 van. I need to remove the a/c compressor and move the p/s pump up to were the a/c comp. sits. Is there a relocating kit available or has anyone modified the existing bracket to do this ? I need the clearence because the engine is going in a early bronco. thanks for any help.

Mustang drivers do this all the time. Check with some of their message boards or magazines

or the wreckers. Some Fords came without AC and had a different bracket that put the PS up there. I found a couple myself in 80s Tbirds and sold them for 40 bucks each.
