Relocating HVAC controls...help...
2000 expy xlt, sport.
I am trying to relocate or reconfigure the fan, temp, and selector controls to make room for a in-dash LCD monitor. I only need about another 1" of height, so I was thinking about either:
1) Relocating the existing 3 controls elsewhere.
2) Keeping them in the same general area (below radio) but changing them to sliders.
Question: Is the selector (vent/heat/floor/AC, etc...) electrical or mechanical? How about the temp control...electrical or mechanical?
