Does anyone have any recomendations on tires. I need to get some new ones, i have had 3 flats on one tire with the factory tires. It looks like the next flat will require a new tire. I've noticed that it is hard to find the same tire size as fords factory rubber. Any Ideas on replacments, i'm looking for a tire that will last: I do mostly highway driving so i don't require an off road tire, however a tire that will be good enough for 4 wheel drive if needed

Froste, a great place to search is Tirerack.com They have a large rating system where users (customers) actually rate all types of tires. You need to sit down and learn all the ins and outs of the website. Take an hour and click on everything. Once you learn it, you can find the perfect tire for your style of driving and truck. Good luck.
Anyone have any opininons on the BFG All Terrain Tires? I am looking at getting some, but have never had a set.
I have about 10 sets of bfg's on my trucks and have been very satisfied. If you go 4 wheeling get the mud tires, If you go off road every once in a while I would get the all terrains, there quiet and handle better on the road
Have used Tire Rack's recommendations on all vehicles and never disappointed. Truck currently has a set of Kumho - nothing special but they work, one car has Yokohama, one has Firestone and the other car has Bridgestone. Talk to them about how you use your vehicle.
First, just wanted to say I'm new here and appreciated answers to my post on tire recommendation for a 2001 F-150 4X2. I got suggestions, and directed to other posts on tires which I didn't know to look for. Anyway, most recommendations point to BFG, whether its A/T's or the Long Trail; same with Tirerack. Just wondering if no one likes Goodyears, or that's just who responded? Long Trails seem to be the best compromise for all-road driving, and some snow; the All Terrains a bit more noisy and more than you need for most weather?
