96 3rd brake ballast?

96 3rd brake ballast?
Where can I get the ballast for a 3rd brake on a 96 xlt? Do I have to go to the dealer or can I get it somewhere else. Can someone give me the mfg part number off of so I can do some searching. I work for a co. that does electronics and might be able to find a secondary source if I could get the part number off of it.

I could find it only at the dealer. I don't the mfg. part number but it only takes a few minutes to get to. Simply remove the top of the inside plastic hatch cover. It's held in by a couple of screws or nuts and couple of quick disconnect wire connectors. Should take about 5 minutes.

I just got one last month. The LED lights I had in just weren't as bright as I wanted.
