BigBloo is correct. Any 2 track seat up to 96 will bolt in. Just bolt the tracks off the early seat to the new one and throw it in. Mine is a bench with the fold down armrest out of a 91 F-150 that I had covered in tweed. Its way more comfortable than the stock back breaker. The pics are in my gallery.

I re-covered my '71 with factory original patterns and it turned out quite nice, if I say so myself. The material probably costs more that a junkyard seat ($200), but it matches the rest of the interior.
Any seat should fit with the fuel tank behind it. I had a bench seat with a center armrest in my 70 before I removed the in cab tank, and it worked fine. You just may not be able to move the seat as far back as you want if you are much taller than me (5' 9").
I went out to some boneyards today to look for a bench seat and saddle tanks. I near puked when they told me what they wanted for seats! $575 for a 40/20/40 cloth seat from a 91! No luck on the saddle tanks. I didn't want to cut holes in the side of my bed for the filler neck. I was hoping to find the tanks that have the filler neck in the wheel well. I did score on some side marker lenses for the bed, though. I asked about getting my old seat redone and it could run up to $500! So, I figure I might hit some swap meets this summer and see what I can find. I'd rather find a newer seat with the head rests. They're much more comfortable. The PO stuffed a piece of plywood behind the cushion of my backrest. Yes, it feels just like a piece of plywood.
