AC not working

OKay guys heres the problem and what I've done to kinda get me in the right direction. The AC doesn't blow cold air at all. I at first thought it may be the charge. So I checked it. Pressure reading was really high.I by-passed the high pressure switch, compressor still wouldn't kick on. I by-passed the low switch and still no compressor kick on. After doing a little research on here and Explorer Express I found that the accumulator on the 5.0's are notorious for rusting away, so I checked sure enough the thing is shot. Now I jumper the compressor to a 12 volt power source and it started kicking in. So I'm pretty sure the compressor is okay. Could the accumulator being so far gone cause the bad readings on the pressure gauge? Everything that I have been told and have researched points to the accumulator as being the problem. Also exactly where is the orifice tube located? Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If I not mistaken, Theres a switch on the side or close to it. The orifice tube should be right there at the accumulator. You will need some needle nose to pull it out they can be a pain in the (ask) to get out.
