I know this has been discussed before and I have read the discussions but i never realy got anything I wanted to know out of them. My question is were can I get a centrifigul supercharger for an FE? Like a Paxton or Powerdyne, etc. I know they make em cause Ive seen them on the Shelby's with 427's and 428's.
Thanks
I have never seen a kit just for the FE's but if you can weld and have a machine shop do the rest I would think you could buy a paxton kit and change the brackets (maybe use a smog pump bracket?). You just need to make sure you get a carb version unless you run a fuel injection kit like accels pro-jection(correct name?) kit. I really don't know all the details involved but if you have the time and money anything can be done. Are you sure the Shelby kits weren't special made just for those cars? Maybe you could get a part number from Shelby or Ford or whoever and try ordering just the supercharger kit.

I was wondering about asking someone, I mean that would be a good start lol, but your right, if i could mount it right , then it should work, looks like i got something to spend more time on now.
Blue Thunder makes a true blower manifold for an FE. That is what I have on my '64 Galaxie. I have a 6-71 bolted to it. Looks good, runs good.
One thing to watch, as I did when looking at the possibility of putting that motor in my '69 F100 is the cowl. It sticks out there pretty good and I think there would be a clearance issue with carbs and such. The blower sits back far enough that I think the carbs would be right where the cowl sticks out. FYI, the BT intake mounts the blower towards the rear of the motor so just make a straight line up from rear edge of intake and see if there is clearance.
Thunder: I was thinking the same thing. I used to have a Vortech kit for my '96 F350 460. I sold it and now wished I had kept it. I think with some fab work I could have bolted it to the 352 in my '67 F100. Buy a carb box and bolt it together. Should have worked pretty easily.
