Showing my ignorance - what the heck is a calibration number on a 78? :-) If it's on there I'll go get it. All the number crunching I've done seems to indicate this engine came out of a 78 Lincoln, althought the truck VIN shows it originally had a 460. Unless the factory used the Lincoln motor to get it out the door it's not the original engine. The engine has also been rebuilt at elast once prior to me owning it so I can't say for wure what parts are original to this motor or not. The stock manifold on there now has blocked off EGR ports but I don't know of a way to determine that's what came out the factory door on it. Likely it did but I'd like to find out for sure.
What I think I should do is just move across the line into South Carolina where I don't have to worry about it. LOL
