Dana 60 mini-spool

I haven't looked inside my D60 to know exactly what's going on yet, but just curious as to why there is no Mini spools availabile for the Full Floater Dana 60 rear end? I see where there is now one available for the 14 bolt. Do you folks think there will ever be one available? I didn't want to weld spiders but the cheapest spools start around $150.

Just curious?

I'm looking at the Reider Racing catalog and they don't list one for the Dana 60 or the GM 14-bolt. Did you check with Currie?

I've looked everywhere. I have been looking for about a year now. There's just one or two companies with the 14bolt mini spool. It just came out like last month or two.

Why would you want a mini over a full spool?

Saving about $160 being the biggest reason with a $20 mini spool.
So no one knows why they don't make a Dana 60 mini spool?

Myabe it's becuase they can not make them strong enough to hold up to 3/4 and 1 ton applications? Just a guess.

"Drivetrain Direct" did it for the 14 bolt. It's a 1 ton axle.
I think it is soon to come. Maybe I need to call DD and see when they are going to make us one. :-)
