What lifts?

Just wanting to know what lifts all of you have on your Broncos? Currently I have a 3" body lift and I am planning on the 6" superlift or a straight axle lift. My wife wants the Bronco as big as we can get but personally I don't want it to sit on anything bigger than 38's.

Also, if you have pix of your big beast, please post them and tell me what lift and what size tires you have.

Mike

Please use the search function. The topic of lift kits is talked about almost as often as auto hubs failing.

don't you think he means to search first, then ask later?for example, there was an active thread going about painting the top,and someone came in and asked about painting the top.when pointed to the thread, they were gratefull.

of course, in that case they were actually pointed to the thread, and not just told to use the search (as in another thread I recently viewed about K&N filters where the user searched for K&N and found nothing, but would have found what they were looking for if they had searched "filter" even though one would think that "filter" would result in more irrelevant threads...)

good god, just anwser the guys question and quit arguing like little girls..........i have a 6 inch on mine...all suspension...and in my opinion bigger isnt necessarily better...dont get a 4 inch kit and want to go bigger though...go as big as you want once...and yes...go for the straight axle lift if you have the money for the conversion....most deffinately

<! I am so sick and tired of people telling other people to use the search button. I have used the search button on this forum a million and one times and can't ever find ****! It pulls up so many BS threads that it takes forever to find what you are looking for.>

I thought this was a discussion board not a search and read! Everytime I want to find anything, it pulls up over 15 pages of threads and NONE are relivent to what I am looking for.

<!I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this...If you don't want to post your pic or tell me about your truck then stay the **** off my threads! >

Mike

Now back to the trucks. I have decided to go with 33s for now since I don't want to mess with the gears in my Bronco. I will eventually put a straight axle and put bigger tires but for now I think 33s are good. But would still love to see your Broncos that are lifted.

<! easy there killer.... don't get all ****ed at someone for voicing an opinion.>

Anyway, I don't have a lift yet, but I've been researching them. I'll be putting one on very soon, and I'm pretty settled on the Explorer Pro Comp kit. They have an option to purchase replacement radius arms with the kit, and it's about a grand (with new radius arms) from 4WheelParts. The price is similar for the 4" and the 6" kits. I think 4" will be plenty for me, and with my 33" tires I should still be able to fit in the garage. I doubt I'll ever go to a straight axle, considering that I'm not an avid wheeler. I do my fair share of muddin and trail driving, but nothing serious enough for a straight axle conversion. Anyway, I say ditch the body lift (for a million reasons, mostly cause it looks dumb) and go 100% suspension. If you're not going to go with bigger tires, 9" of lift is going to look kinda silly. 6" suspension and 33" tires will look very nice and be very capable.

I currently have BFGoodrich A/t KO 33x12.50 on my truck. check out my gallery to see how they fit. Since they should last another 2-3 years easily, I won't be changing tires when i get my lift :-).

Hello gentlemen. The search tools are provided for people that are looking for quick information. You do have to be "creative" in your use of search terms tho. There is no magical word that will bring you just the threads you want. Some subjects have been discussed ad nauseam and there is a lot of info (and BS) to be found about them using search.

Please be aware that this is a G-rated site and strong language or even the masking of it is not tolerated well. Outbursts of profanity and bashing other users is not tolerated at all. https://www.ford-trucks.com/guidelines.html

the thread lives!!!

I am saving for a lift.I know everyone has their opinion, but after talking with some shops and some local guys near me,I have decided on the dick cepek lift.the "experts around me say cepek aligns the best.???prob. the 4' with 33 tires so it will fit in the garage.it will be awhile so I will have plenty of time to talk myself into 6' w/ 35s and parking on the driveway.
