Help with engine swap

Ok I have a 78 Bronco with a 400 and a NP435 trans with a 205 transfer case.
The 400 is coming out to fix oil and exhuast leaks but it runs great. While the engine is out I need to have the trans gone thru due to a bad 3rd gear and while I'm there I am going to open uo the transfer case inspect it then reseal it(it leaks too).
I want to pump up the 400 a little maybe an intake with 4b carb new cam ,just freshen it up.It's too slow for me.But I am not convinced that I should keep the 400. Does anyone have input on the idea of swapping in a built 351w.I do not want the weight of a 460 and the 351w as you all know has a big aftermarket selection. I am just frustrated with the lack of parts for my 400.
What do you guys think,I am open for opinions! Thanks

A 460 would bolt in, a 351w would need a trans change or bell housing change if its removable. 460 wouldn be your best bet or you can cam and intake your 400, I did to my old 79 bronco and it woke it up big time. I also added a shift kit. Truck was insane.
