What tool to open case
Okay. I'ver tried every allen wrench I own, what size wrench is needed to open the transfer case drain and fill plugs?????

Mine is just a 1/4 inch drive ratchet end. Square. My Expedition had a 8mm allen wrench head. My X has the square end head like on a 1/4 inch drive ratchet.

Not sure I know the front and rear diff's used the 3/8 drive, but the transfer case is bigger.
