Tachometer installation question.

Where can I hook up the power wire for a SUN tachometer in my 1980 F-150. I installed one in my 1964 F-100 because the back of the igniton switch is easy to get to. Can I use the igniton switch on my 80 also? If so, how can I get to it? and where do I hook it up? It is a 4 speed truck, so there is no column shifter. Truck had a 300 6 from the factory with no factory tach. It now has a 460 and a tach would be nice.

I put a Mini Sun Super Tach II in my 86 F150 300I6. The instructions said it should be powered ONLY in the run mode. They were really explicite about this. I found an empty plug on my fuse block that fit the bill. Just my .02
