Alright this is my deal...I want to sell my truck for the truck I'm about to list. Can you literally ask this much for what he has? Kelly BB says $24,000. What would you pay?

Extremely clean F-250 supercab, silver w/ grey cloth captains chairs, Wet Okole seat covers (since new), Autometer Ultra Lite gauges (boost/EGT/tranny temp). Sony CD, Diamond speakers, 2 8" subs in a custom box under rear seat,4 channel Zapco amp($$$), system is very loud and extremely clear. Power sliding rear window, Stull billet grill, Pinch Weld Covers, clear corner lights, F-450 badges, 03 power heated towing mirrors, p windows, p locks, tilt, cruise, elec shift on the fly, power seat, A/C, tint, full Banks Turbo upgrade kit w/ cast iron elbow, Magnaflow exhaust, trans shift kit, 8 1/2" Edge lift kit (4" spring, 4.5" hanger), dual bilsteins, adjustable track arm, custom steering stabilizer, rear Air Rite helper bags w/onboard compressor, 37 X 12.50 X 17 Parnelli Jones w/ Weld 17X10 Sidewinders (powdercoated clear), no more polishing,(37" spare) Truck has app 55,000 miles and is perfect. Runs all Mobil synthetics throughout. Only problems I have had since new were loose turbo bolts and leaking rear pinion seal, otherwise truck has been great. This is one of the last trucks you could get forged rods from the factory, (extremely durable).

Okay after all that reading you just did here's what he's asking...

$29,900!!! Why does that seem so high. I can't stand when people jack the price higher than the mods should really take it. Please give me your .02 By the way pics of this truck are in my gallery...

I would tell him he wrecked it when he modified it and you will give him $12,000 because it will take you a lot of money to make it factory again...

Of course he will laugh at you but what the hell...

I sold my 01 5.4 reg cab the other day, and I did about 8k better than blue book..

As they say...There's a dog for every bone.

What is a truck worth ????
or for that matter, anything ???

As much as, and only what a buyer will pay for it !

If his price is to high, it will sit until
a) he drops his price to something someone will pay or
b) someone determines they like the truck so much they HAVE to have it @ that price !

Even with all the goodies, it's NOT a $30K truck, IMO. Loose turbo bolts? Hmm, did he monkey around with it? Seems strange that with only 55K the turbo bolts should come loose. And a leaky rear pinion seal. I don't like the sound of that for $30K.

Nope, I wouldn't bite for that price, but offer him a price you're comfortable with and see if he goes for it. Not much else you can do. As others have stated, value is in the eye of the beholder.

Good luck, and remember there will always be "other trucks" to choose from; this is NOT the last truck available out there!

The truck looks real clean but like everyone says dont know if the problems he has had have been resolved. you buy a truck to drive not to be worked on.

True true, I am fixing to send him an email for $25,500...If he says no, theres a saying that I run by very closely. "***** happens for a reason." Thanks for taking the time to read my concerns. Chuck
