292 no power when hot
Once this 62 292 reaches operating temp, I have to keep patting the gas to keep running at a stop. Have to ride the cluch some in order to get going again (no power). Idels fine upon starting (Cold), other than the usual v8 cold start.
This is my first night on this site, so after hours of reading I have many leads on how to handle this situation. Am going to try new filter before pump instead of after. Have rebuilt carb. All standard tuneup parts new. New Coil. Some plug wires a little burnt from ex-manifolds, but still new. Any suggestions are more than welcome. I sure am glad I found this site. This truck is a learner for me and there is great info on all I might need to know! Thanks, 62unib..
