Hypertech power programmer III

Hello,

I am new to this group and would like to ask a question. What are the groups thoughts on using a Hypertech power programmer III ? I just bought a 1996 f150 4x4 (34000 miles) with the 5.0 liter V8 manual transmission. It also has a 3" lift with BF Goodrich 33 x 10.50 All-Terrain r15lt tires. I would like to improve performance and gas mileage ( I only get 11 mpg). If you guys have any other ideas on making power improvements that won't break the bank i'm all ears.

Thank You very much!!
Mike

A. You will not improve mileage.
B. The Hypertech programmer gives its power increases at wide open throttle. A Superchips or Diablo Sport solution does.
