LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-00 AT 07:36 AM (EST)[p]I have a 93 F-250 diesel. My ABS indicator light periodicly come on. When the indicator light is on the brakes seem to be working fine. When the light goes off the brakes seem to get a little sponge. Could someone explain what I need to look for to relieve this problem.
You need to download the code that is causing the light to come on, next to the brake pedal should be a single orange wire, while the key is on, you ground this wire, and the light should start flashing, count the flashes and let me know what they are.

No luck finding orange wire. Just green wire going to brake pedal and a switch.
