I had a Rhino liner installed yesterday and while I like the lining the installation was barely adequate. The first thing I noticed was the Rhino tag glued to the front bed wall. I told the installer to remove it because I do not do advertisements. He warned me that wouldn't look good because it was stuck on with glob of silicone on the liner itself. Off it came. Now I will have to take a wire wheel to the glob and try to rough it up to blend with the rest of the lining.
I did not notice until I got home, the hanging drips under the inside front overhang that I will have to razor now .
Two lessons here. (1) Work out every detail in advance. (2) Check the work carefully before you leave!
The drips are normal, I have them on the underside of the bedrails on my Rhino Liner and have seen them on other spray in bedliners as well. Mine came with a small tag in the rear inner bedwall. I didn't mind it at all.
The low pressure/cold application liners, such as Rhino, produce drips and runs. High pressure/high heat application liners, such as LINE-X, don't have that problem.
The installer where I got my Rhino sprayed in did a good job in my opinion. I didn't notice until I got home that they neglected to put the Rhino tag on the bedliner. I meant to go back and get it, but have never made the time. It's not that big of a deal though, at least I know it's a rhino and that's all that really matters.
how has your spray in liners been holding up? am thinking about getting it done on my truck (04 f150) but was just wondering about quality and durablility. i could ask the dealers themselves, but they will only tell you what you want to hear.

i have "Line-X". had it installed 5 years ago and is holding up very well. even had a battery tip over and spill acid out and it didn't even affect the linner. "Line-X" appears to be a little thicker than the others.
Concerning the tag, take it off after a few days and just pull the silicone off. Its what I did with mine and it was very easy to remove. With drips just take a razor blade and clean it up. I have never used Line-X so I can't comment on that product but In 10 years I have never had a problem with my Rhino linings. IMO though regardless of the brand if you use your bed hard both will wear. Still better than any drop-in ever invented.
