is it worth me trying to find a ford 4bbl intake to put on or a edelbrock or should i just stay with the stock 2bbl when it was on the dyno it did make 321.4 hp at the back and it flows great
What are you running for internals on your 390? I cant believe the kind of HP your claiming?? 321.4 RWHP? with a 2V? Damn...You must have Gold Ford Finger's??
Or a 200HP shot of the happy stuff..and I dont mean Nitrous Either! LMAO!! Russ
Holy ****. 321RWHP with a 2-barrel? What carb are you running?
I say go ahead and get the Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and run a holley 600cfm vacuum secondary. Then see what it makes. Although with 321 RWHP, it's kinda hard to recommend any change.
The 65 390's had either 300hp/427tq in 4bbl form or 330/427 for the 390 PI's. 1962 was the year for the 390 with a 375/427 and 66' was the 1st year for a 390 2bbl with 270/401, i know this is correct for the cars atleast, not sure on trucks though
the engine has been modified ne came roller rockers trick flow heads hooker headers trick flow crank je pistons performance connecting rods and lots of other stuff i just never got around to the carb and intake
i would deffinatly get a edelbrock rpm intake, and a carb. depending on how big your cam is, 600 cfm, vac sec for a mild cam, or a 750 double pumper for a wild one. this just my oppinion, but if your putting out those numbers with a 2 barrel, a 4 barrel set-up should only help.
