Hello! Newbie checking in
Nice forum you all have here, I would know as I'm a mod at another forum for a different hobby.
Just got my first used Ford truck, a 1993 F150 XLT ext cab SB with 5.0 power. Garage kept and just 89k miles on it. The guy was so **** about maintenance he gave me a notebook filled with every service or add on he did to the truck since he bought it new in 1993.
Giving up my 1998 Sable for the truck as my wife and I really need a truck and I had to get rid of my nasty 78 Chevy a few years back (too many vehicles at the time).
Anyway, I've asked some basic mod questions in the 87-96 forum and I've already done a few things to the truck. I have a 1978 Cutlass that I've installed a 355 Chevy withh all the goodies. Converted over to a manual trans, bigger brakes, HD suspension from an IROC, hydroboost steering and several other mods. You could say I'm a gearhead and I've owned about 36 vehicles in 17 years of all different types

Welcome to FTE.. Lots of info here and great people.

Thanks guys! Seems like a decent place and I'm here to learn whatever I can! I already having people asking me questions in the 87-96 forum. They might think I'm a little peculiar, but it's okay. Sometimes I get a little obessed with extracting every ounce of HP from my vehicle in a quest to be efficient. Hopefully no gets their feathers ruffled.
