I posted this in the older trucks forum but after thinking about it, I think this is the proper place for it.
I have an '87 F-250 with a 351W, Dura Spark II distributer, Edelbrock 1406 Carb, Performer intake, shorty headers, and no emissions.
The carb has both a full time vacuum port and what they call a timed vacuum port. I take it that the timed port only supplies vacuum at "off idle". My question is, should I use the timed vacuum port or the full vacuum port for the timing vacuum?
My guess would be the full time port but I'm looking for other opinions to confirm(or not) that.
