Sanden Compressor question
I was at a post a few weeks ago and someone ? mentioned that their Sanden compressor is so much better then anything out there. What makes them different than the one you can buy at the Zone or Ford or wherever ? Just curious because I am looking for something to really blow the air more than it is now. I have replaced the blower resistor, motor and cleaned all ducts and it just doesn't seem strong enough. I want to make it as close to how it was when I bought it numerous years ago.

Well I dont know the difference in the compressors, but the comps. wont have anything to do with how much (volume) of air you blow out of the vents. the amount of air it blows will be determined by the air duct system the blower motor it self and the fan on the motor, you may want to check all the vaccume lines and make shure the air control flad in the box is compleatly openin or closing making all your air come out. good luck DW

That's kind of what I was thinking but have not really had any dealing with AC systems. I know the vacuum lines are OK because I dealt with them last year and got everything corrected. What exactly are you meaning by the flad or did you mean to say flap ? Is this the assembly under / behind the dash ?

Im sory that was a typo, i mean the FLAP in the air control box, it dirtects the air where it needs to go like for fresh air, MAX a/c , def, floor some are vaccume controlled be the a/c panel all it takes is cracked or leaking line to screw with it. Good luck! DW
