im looking into getting my 99 v 10 super charged but i know nothing about them...any advice or sugestions would be helpfull
see Kenne Bell, others make s/c's for the V-10, but Kenne Bell is in my opinion the most knowledgeable. He and I disagree on the headers issue, but hey, that's one minor flaw on his part. Kennebell.net is his address I think. Call and talk to them, they're extremely helpful. Good luck, Ken
the kenne bell looked pretty cool...now i have heard that a turbo might be better is this true and if so does anybody know any turbos out on the market for the 6.8 v10?

Here is a link to a twin turbo V-10 that's in a Mustang. There is no kit available, and hanging a couple turbo's on an electronically controlled mod motor is not something an average, shade tree mechanic can do unless you got LOTS of money to rebuild grenadad parts, yuk, yuk. The supercharger is the best way to go for instant power. There are some folks regrinding cams. There is no-one making heads yet, but there's always porting that can be done to free up some ponies. Headers will help, a chip will help, there's lots of ways to go other than a turbo, which regardless of what you might hear, don't produce 'free' horsepower. Good luck, Ken
A turbo will do nothing for the low-end, while a supercharger will help all across the powerband.
As a matter of fact, taking a stock V10 and putting on a turbo will REDUCE your low-end torque because of increased exhaust backpressure, and lower intake velocity.
(sorry, couldn't resist)...
PS: A screw-type supercharger will give more boost at lower RPM's than a centrifugal. (and by "boost" I mean "flow", not necessarily a higher number on the boost guage).
Whipple makes a bolt on kit for the V10. Very good reputation. They supply a lot of superchargers for NHRA cars. Their web site has pics of a V10 w/a blower installed. VERY COOL!!

But... I heard right here that a turbo would not increase exhaust backpressure. As a matter of fact, I've come up with an idea of using a lawnmower and a turbo to create an infinite amount of horsepower. Anybody buying?
Sorry, I know I should just let it go, but it's much too fun.
