That is what i originally tried to do. thats how i found jacobs, but i still could not find anything that i could put on my truck. all it came up with is for Cats and Detroits. Any more info would be appreciated. thanks

I know that the jake brake only deals with the exhaust part but i have a 3" body lift, with a cherry bomb and a 3" straight pipe. just wondering if this would make a difference. thanks for the help.

Mine sounds horrible right now. The exhaust finally gave out last night actually. sounds good at idle with nothing past the y pipe but horrible if you step on it. lol

Take a look in the diesel forum, Fatforty posted some info on a source for headers and exhaust for the 6.9's and 7.3 navistars. From reading someone elses post they made a world of difference on a 6.9 liter. If I wasn't fixin' to do a drive train swap I would be on the phone with my credit card in hand right now!
