I need some help..... I have a f150 with some electrical problems they all seemed to happen with in a very short time.
I have lost my flash to pass.......but I still have high beams.
I have lost my cruz control.
and my horn does not work from the steering wheel... but I did get it to work straight from my battery.
I have know Idea what could have gone I did check all the fuses...... all seems good.
steering column wiring can be a real pain. the slip ring a.k.a clock spring do get flakey. wiring as it enters the lever mount inside of column gets stressed as does any wiring that will travel through the tilt portion of steering column. it's just a matter of tracking this down. even the O.D. button at the end of shifter has been known to short out. spend some time in these areas and see if you can find broken wiring ( it will not be visable) or see if anything is shorted out. hope this helps on where to start.
