Cruise Control

While cruise control was on at any mph , I turned on my right blinker and the cruise went off as though I hit the brake, F150 4x 4 1998 any Idea's?

I've never seen this problem before.
Do your brake lights and signal lights all work ok?

yes all other works fine, the abs light was on yesterday but off now

Found the problem it was the multi function switch
