I fixed my coil problem. My mechanic at work is basically making everything under the hood a little more waterproof. My next question is with all the exhausts out there now what is going to give my 5.4 the best sound and hp boost. I bought a K&N cold air intake and I am looking at some different chips, is flowmaster the way or is there something better out there? Also any recomendations on chips would be appreciated as well.
Personally, I'd go ask about the exhausts down in the exhaust forum, and then tuner down in the tuner forum.
I'd also state what year of F150 you have, although I assume its somewhere in the 97-03 range since your posting in this forum.
Gibson and Borla both make a nice exhaust that gives a HP and MPG boost, but they are somewhat spendy. High quality and will probably never rust out, but spendy. Otherwise, most people seem to go with Flowmasters.
If your F150 is a 97-03, I'd wait a couple weeks until the Diablo Predator tuner becomes available for your truck and then purchase that, it will give quite a decent boost to your horsepower.
