That's a cool idea. I think alot about what I would do if I had an endless supply of money to put into toys.
I want to get some of those custom colors that the liner companies have and do a whole truck in it. That's strictly for a 4x4 offroad azzkicker but I think it would look cool and be practical.
yeah, there's a company that makes that DIY stuff in about 12 different colors, and its very affordable.... there's a guy in my 4-wheelin' club that did his entire XJ in Yellow, its REAL durable. I will post more pics when I'm done... I've still got three more coats to do on the passenger side, and all 6 to do on the drivers side.
That stuff will not hold up like actual Rhino Lining, but it will look good. If all your after is making it look better, then you did good! Good luck at the show!
There is a rural mailman around here that drives an old 4wd eagle station wagon, he had the ENTIRE body sprayed with the Rhino Lining stuff....it looks pretty heavy! lol

oh believe me!! I know it won't hold up like the real stuff, but it was cheap, so I figured I'd see how well at works (if at all) and then later on, cover it with the real stuff.... but this $20 stuff is a lot better then paying $400 to have it rhino lined.
Ryan, since you have experiance now how about putting Rhino Liner on my truck bed. LOL
Sure, why not. I'm not cheap though
Well, anyway, I finished up tonight, and got some more pics. I'm gonna let it dry tonight, and then tomorrow, b4 I go to work, I'm gonna move it outta the garage and let it sit in the sun all day to dry for good, and then I'll be able to hit the road with it!! I can't wait.... I'll put up all the pics tomorrow hopefully.
I still go to Tuttle Creek, its just a little bit longer drive. haha, actually, I did this when I did, b/c I'm goin up there Friday and Saturday actually.
Well, Its all done now, I've got some pics of the whole process, from masking off, and wet sanding, to the finished product (I'm not gonna repost the original pictures on Page 1)
Here's when it was masked off, then wet sanded::
I let it sit in the garage the entire night drying, then I moved it outside the next morning to bake in the sun while I was at work, and this is what I came home to::
I thought it turned out pretty good. Today, on my way home, I had to drive through a mud puddle (gasp), so it will be getting its first wash test to see how it stands up to a pressure washer.
