Just traded in my 2002 F-150 for a 2004 F-250. I'm missing the roof console that my F-150 had. The one with the clock and temp. I found one in the right color and would like to know if the wiring is there (front of the roof). I know they offer the console in the Larait, so I hoping the thing is pre wired.
dly: I dont believe there is a wiring harness up in the headliner because the harness for the cab lights has to be purchased seperatly when adding lights!
I assume you have a XLT, so if you add the console you will need the sensor for the temperature also. Your best bet would be to find one in a salvage yard and get the whole assembly.
I got an overhead console from a F-150 and put it in my '01 F-250. Worst part was cutting the headliner, but it worked out great. The F-150 OHC only has a compass and a temp guage. Didn't want to know about the crappy mileage I was getting with the V-10 that the OHC console for the F-250 Lariet provides!
