I have the same problem. I took it to the dealer today and they called and told me they were keeping the truck till tomarrow because they were replacing the ring and pinion rears. They told me they'd seen this particular problem some.

I'm getting the howling when I push on the accelerator from around 35 to 60 MPH. I don't get it at higher speeds and it goes away when I take my foot off the gas. So the consensus here is that it's the ring and pinion?

As I posted yesterday. Got my truck back today after ring & pinion replacement. The noise is completely gone. While at the dealer yesterday I mentioned some vibration 30-70. They said they had'nt heard of any particular problems with vibration. I explained to check for TSB 04-3-3. Today when I picked up my truck the service advisor told me they'd found the driveline to be out of round and ordered a new drive shaft. It seems almost to easy.
