I have read many threads regarding aftermarket gauge pods which include a pyro, boost and transmission temp gauge. I have a 04/04 F-250 Lariat and there is a trans. temp gauge in the OEM dash cluster. Are folks installing another point for reading the temp for better reliability or accuracy?
I would like to add a pyro and boost gauge but I have not found a 2-gauge pillar mount. Is there a good location for a 2 gauge panel mount or dash mount. If anyone has pics I would like to see what you did.

Call MotorHaven for them, and I would only place them on the "A" pillar, for ease of reading.
Although MotorHaven doesn't sell them you can buy 2 gauge pods. If you end up getting a 3 gauge pod and you don't want an aftermarket trans temp gauge you could get a rear differential gauge. I'm not sure if MotorHaven sells that either. You might consider sending Ken an email, he might be able to get products on "special order" that aren't listed on the site. I always recommend checking MotorHaven first when you're doing your mods because the prices are good and it helps keep this site up and running.

Good point John, I thought Ken did carry 2 pod sets. However, I would buy the 3 pod, and run the tranny gauge. I like it because it has real numbers on it and I tow a big load.
