Bronco overheating

I put is a painless harness in my bronco and am now having overheating problems. I am only speculating that it is a wiring problem because the overheating started at around the same time I put in the new harness, but you know houw these things go! I have replaced the thourmistat, h2o pump, and radiator cap. On the origional harness I only had one wire that ran my Accell 300+, but now I have to use two. One of the wires starts it and the other keeps it running in the "run" position. Does any one out there know what the exact voltage the ingition wires for the Accell 300+ are supposed to recieve in the different ignition switch positions IE: start, and run. I also have a Malory unilite distributor, I would like the same info for it as well and any other sugestions that might help me get the bronco back on the road.

I wouldn't think the wiring harness would cause overheating unless there is a huge load being being put on the alternator.

Two things to check. Make sure you have no air pockets in the system and is your radiator in good shape?
