69 73 swap
does anybody know if aearly 73 is a bolt in swap into a85 f350ccdrwwitha69 c6 my truck has over 300.000miles on her still runs strong ,but want more power! thanks in advance david in s,e tx

Just for info, the 7,3 and 6.9 will interchange, though you will have to use the glow plugs and controller off the 6.9, as the 7.3 uses a different type with one exception, that is the 87, 6.9 which is the only year that used the same glow plugs and controller as the 7.3. No big deal though. Everything else will bolt right up, though you can not use a 6.9 injector pump on a 7.3

Dave do you know the first yr for the 7.3 & i'am takeing it the glow plugs interchange om truck was a plane jane . i've change the dash gauges from a86 xlt & now have a tack .All i realy want is a little more power . she's a85 cc drw with a354 gear I drive all over texas so gear ghange is out of question & can't aford a turbo !!!! all ready have duel pipes front to back . now have 4. in stacks to put on going to try 3.5 in pipe into them .any input would be appreciated . thank you
