Hi All...
I've been browsing through all of the postings, but I wanted to get some opinions also. I found an 86 F-250 X-cab with the 6.9 for sale in my area. The motor has a few miles (200k), but the body is good. The only thing I have found (so far) is a slightly rough idle, with small amounts of white smoke in the exhaust...checking further, I found an injector that has an air leak at the base.
The price is right (1200), And I have been dying to get a diesel since i was a youngin(30 now). Is their any reason I should steer clear?
Can anybody give me some specs on the truck? There is not a whole lot of info out there (Im used to Jeeps....everyone has written something on them
