200,000 miles, is that too many???
Hi,
I am looking at F250 XLT super cab 7.3 DSL. auto w/od 2x4 with 200,000 miles, he's asking $6950. From what he says he takes very good care of it. He changes the oil and filters every 3,000 miles and he does use the coolant additive. He is the second owner, the first owner was a vet I don't know what he did with it. He just installed 4 new 10 ply tires 2 new batterys a bed matt and a tool box. From what he said he only used it to pull his boat.
So what do you guys think is this a good buy or not??
Thanks,
Richard.

You did'nt mention what year it is. Also, what kind of shape the body/interior is in. I don't think 200k on a well maintained diesel would be a problem but unless the transmission has been recently rebuilt, you might expect problems with it in the future.
