HELP 1st posting - If I could find out what I want I would buy right now. But all dealers tell me I'll have to order to get what I want. My first diesel will be a F-350 Lariat with Cpt. Chairs, 4X4 Crew Cab, Automatic,172 WB DRW, 4.10 LS Axle, All-Terrain tires, Camper & Off-Road Pkgs, Telescopic Mirrors, Chrome Tubular Steps, Sliding rear window, 4X4 shift-on-the-fly, Dual Alternators, and reverse sensing system. Should I buy 2002 instead of 2001?
I would prefer XLT because I like cloth over leather, but you cannot get overhead console with XLT. How do I find out what will change on the 2002 models? Delers tell me no major changes but say they don't know of what will be except for color changes and say they do not know what color will change.
Sorry so long Please any advice and information will be greatly appreciated!!
I work in the prison system (TX) and am hoping to find a way out of this line of work and am hoping this will be my way out of a bad situation.

That is very similar to alot of people's wish list. A good dealer should be able to find one very close to it.
EXACTLY how you want it will have to be ordered however. For that, check here http://www.lonestarford.com/index.html
To keep up with all the changes, http://www.fordvehicles.com/
And although this is a great site, http://www.ford-diesel.com/ is dedicated solely to powerstroke superduty's, worth checking out.
As a side, I do not work for Ford, Lonestar Ford, or F-D.C, these are just sites I've found to be helpful.

on edit: this late in the model year, you might as well wait a month and order an '02
