Poor mileage from modifications
I purchased a 2001 X several weeks ago with 36k miles, a beauty. I noticed that after my drive home (turnpike driving) that my mileage was reading 15mpg. Driving around town it was to 11. I installed an AirRaid intake as well as a AirRaid TBS. Now my mileage around town is 9.5 and after arriving at my hotel after a 400 mile drive at 65 mph my mileage is only at 10.2. What happened?? Thanks for your input.

I take it you are basing your mileage on the computer and not calculating it at the pump. The computers are almost never accurate and after some mods they are even less accurate.
Have you tried calculating the mileage at the pump?

My story is similar to yours except I have an '00 X with PSD. I added 4" trbo back exhaust, Diablo programmer, AFE....I have the Diablo programmed for economy mode. Running similar conditions as before the installs my mileage suffered considerably. Even taking into consideration the FF (fund factor) this drop stinks! Pre mods I would get 16.5- 19 mpg easy and post mods I am getting 13-14.5!!! 
These numbers are by long hand as the computer reads mid 20's now!!!! Go figure....the main reason for the mods was the ability to achieve better economy while increasing performance! That was $2000 shot in the butt! Live and learn I guess.
