Question Diesel availability in the west?

Does anyone know of a website, publication or service that lists those service stations along major highways (and elsewhere, maybe) in the west (primarily Arizona, California and Oregon) that sells diesel fuel?

The Auto Club (AAA) has no such listing. The Diesel Technology Forum (www.dieselforum.org) neither has nor knows of such a listing.

The only thing I can find is a web listing of low cost gas stations in Sacramento, CA that includes a notation of those stations that also sell diesel – (http://www.cockeyed.com/citizen/gaso...tations01.html)

Can anyone help?

I know that Oregon has diesel almost everywhere but AM/PM's Shell usually carries it and of course truck stops.

Also, here is a book that may help you.

Also, here is a website for Flying J that will give you prices in all states for their stations.

Do you have a laptop? Get Delorme's "Street Atlas USA 2004" It's cheap and will give you all that kind of information. I have the 2003 version, loaded it on my laptop with a GPS connected and gives you directions, etc.

Diesel prices

Do a web search for "diesel prices" and you will find web pagges for TA, Flying J, et al that gives the location of all their stations and the prices that they charge.

Thanks, SBV.

Yes, we have a farily new notebook computer, but not with a GPS feature. (It does have wireless 804.11g capability integrated. I will be making a list of hotspots along the way of our travels.)

D*mn! Not a week ago, I just bought Microsoft's 'Streets and Trips'. I don't find diesel availability in that program.

With the Delorme program you can do a search within a given radius or along a route and find all sorts of info. Hotels, fuel, post office, whatever. When you select the one you want it shows you where it is on the map. Works good and the price is good.

See if you can't return it or get an exchange.
