i am in the process ofreplacing all my gaskets and lots of other things on my motor i was wondering if there is a where the intake maanifold connects to the thing not sure what is called that connects to the carb. i bought a gasket kit and it was not included and there wasn't one when i pulled it a part there was just silicone, should i just re silicone it or is there a correct gasket??

 

Your talking about the spacer between the carb and the manifold. If you can't get a gasket for it from the store, just make one out of a oil filter box, silicone both sides of the cardboard, and slap it on.
